To celebrate its 180th anniversary, Sberbank launched a huge internal communications campaign comprised of a manifesto, several web activations, a quiz, messenger stickers, major events in the main offices, and even a video congratulation by astronauts from the International Space Station. The toughest goal was to make the campaign relevant to all 300.000 employees—from office workers to branch consultants and CIT guards.

About

Sber is a fullscale tech-driven ecosystem, a whole universe of services. So we decided to turn it into a digital universe, creating at least 50 planets based on Sber’s brands. Each with its own branded visual style and funny description. During the celebration week, we announced a quest for gifts and promo codes on the website. They were randomly added to the surface of planets—this way workers searched for the prize while also getting to know other brands within Sber.


Outcome

More than 70% of employees of the entire ecosystem have registered on the site. We have collected over 50,000 photos as part of our web activation—a record-breaking online collage. Funny stickers were a resounding success in the internal messenger, and one lucky person even found the main prize and won a trip to Baikonur.
